Brewers Union hired a mercenary, Bomber Dribblesnot and a wizard for this game. And Yellow Snow dedicated the game to his dear deceased mother and became a virtual Iron Man who could not be kept off the pitch!
The first round ended 0-0 after many turns of bombs raining down on the poor Norse who were thwarted on their attempts to get past the line of Brewers. Finally Boris managed to run past on one side and the troll who was ordered to blitz him found something of interest deep in his third (?) nostril instead. But the wizard promptly cast a lightning bolt that surely would have killed the poor Norseman if the teams apothecary hadn´t degaussed him.
The second round saw the big guys of both teams on a hot streak of uselessness and a lack of following orders. Lots of KO´s and a niggling injury to Nikita the berserker later, the Brewers were a hairsbreadth away from scoring. After Nina failed his easy dodges, the Brewers blocked and blitzed the hapless Norse remaining and walked over the line on turn 16.
The petty Norse got their vengeance though, Coach Ozt, who had an apothecary remaining, suffered from hubris and positioned his team within blitzrange of Josef the bastard snow troll who managed to 1d-block the Ogre Bigfoot and kill him really, really dead. A bad end to a good game. |
