Another unhappy game. Brewers won and kicked off, Bombers stalled briefly but started racking up casualties quickly, tried for a 3+ pass for TD but the passer fumbled it twice. More casualties and a crowdsurf to death later, the Bombers had to dodge into two tacklezones for a one-dice blitz, then run past several more tacklezones to be blocked down and the ball ending up with the minotaur. Which was blocked down by a treewoman, and a very long series of dodges through tacklezones ended with a handoff to the other catcher and a touchdown.
Second half one ahead was a good start, but having seven players to defend with was not. The Bombers did vaguely manage to threaten the ball once or twice, but also suffered more casualties before the equalizing touchdown. One KO-return later six players did try to score a win, but more double fumbles left nobody in range to reach the endzone. Attempting to pass the ball to the treewoman failed, and the Brewers managed to pass the ball back to the advance guard and score a winning touchdown.
And the Bombers are left a wreck with poor scores for the last game of the season. And with yet another of the founding members dead, only six of the original players remain, two of which carry permanent injuries, it seems as if the Bomber's tale might be over. Perhaps a new wood-elf team with some time to evolve in a group with more equal teamvalues might manage better, but that is a tale for the future.
