The much anticipated re-match of the game Tüskarna från Linghed - Goose Riders (Season 5, Round 1) promised to be exciting. The Underworld of Goose Riders were missing some critical players though, three of their numbers missing the game, most notably Loaf . Tüskarna från Linghed was suffering no injuries, giving the Tüskar a small advantage. A trend that was to continue throughout the game.
The Riders had hired a rookie troll, Bomber Dribblesnot and Nobbla Blackwart to make up for their missing players.
Goose Riders won the cointoss and elected to receive. They swiftly secured the ball and made a very nice sideway movement in their turn 2, really keeping the Humans on their feet.  Helmut apparently found the small Goblins cute though, hugging one of them a bit to hard while the other Humans managed to hurt another of the goblins. The Riders continued there excellent offensive, easily handing off to Frantz Obertz and scoring a touchdown in round 4.
Tüskarna från Linghed then recieved the ball, spreading their players out on the pitch to keep the Goblins and Skavens guessing. A quick play with a handoff to Florian and good screening work from the rest of the team really put the Riders in a disadvantageous position. After the failed dodge of a Goblin Tüskarna consolidated their position and easily scored the 1-1 touchdown with a few turns left to draw out the secret weapons from the now outnumbered Raiders.
With the numerical advantage and starting on the offensive things were looking good for the Humans in the second half. They secured the ball and moved forward into a mighty scrum. The Raiders knocked the ball loose after some nice teamwork, but Tüskarna managed to secure it after that near-disaster. As Tüskarna från Linghed were moving forward with a more organized cage many of Goose Riders were gathering around Leopold, dragging him down under a mass of Goblins! The boot he got to the head sure looked bad, most of the Underworld jumping on him in what looked like a much practiced move! The German steel in his armour was up to the task though! His teammates running in the touchdown to get the judge to notice the underhand Goblin fouling.
By now things were grim for the Underworl, Helmut having found and over-hugged another goblin and both of their star players being sent off. The battered team were not giving up though, setting up 6 players for their offensive against the Humans 11.
Going for their patented "flying goblin" offense everything looked good at first, Fledge "Boss" Grisch getting the ball and flying through the air. Disaster struck as the missed the landing though, no doubt hindered by his untied shoelaces! Tüskarna från Linghed were quick to capitalize on this, picking up the ball and running it towards Goose Riders end zone. The hasty defense failed to stop the German machine, and 3-1 was a fact.
The game certainly left an impression on Goose Riders, The Gimp and Hobby "Goose" McGraft dead, Tommy Wonderful suffering a Serious Concussion and Buddy Rimbreaker hobbling forward with a Smashed Hip! 2 of their casualties was caused by over-eager goblins falling down on their own accord though.
