An eventful match that sure gave the fans value for their money. Plenty of long passes, fancy footwork, fast blitzes, and lots and lots of violence.
The Treehuggers mercilessly took advantage of the Amphibians mistakes early in the first half and was up 3-0 after only a quarter of the match had been played.
The Amphibians spent most of this time pounding the elves, managing to remove a couple of the players from the pitch early on. Uneril Birchstem was first believed killed by  Olivier Farquhar but the elves apothecary managed to save his life, the grave wounds still left him with a Smashed Collar Bone (-ST), ending his career.
After removing some of the opposing players the Arrogant Amphibians managed to score late in the first half leaving the score 3-1 when the whistle blew for half time.
The second half was even more tense as the Amphibians struggled hard to even out the score, while keeping the few elves remaining on the pitch from scoring any more touchdowns. The elves fought back hard, knocking out and injuring several of the Slann-players.
The last minutes of the match was very intense as the Ampibians was very close to scoring, but was hampered by the heroic defence of the Toastwood Treehuggers ending the match 3-3. In what must have been the most spectacular match of the year. |
