Nuffle really, *really* didn't like the Marvels today.
First the star player, Eldril Sidewinder, was badly hurt in the Dead Meats' very first block of the game.
Then Glorfindel proved the truth of the saying "dodges like an elf" (by biting the grass) no less than three times.
Then Idril managed to hurt Schnappi badly enough that he couldn't regenerate during the game... only to be killed herself by Clark The Ham and raised into zombiehood as Schnappi's replacerment on the Dead Meats' bench.
And finally Calenestel's last-second attempt to pass the ball for an equalizing touchdown was intercepted - by a Flesh Golem in tackle zone, allowing the Dead Meats to win by 3-1 instead of getting a 2-2 draw... |
